Alvin Walker and Louisa L. Matthews were married on 4 June 1844 in New Hampshire. Louisa L. Matthews, daughter of Jacob Matthews and Mary Locke, was born on 1 November 1815 in Loudon, Merrimack, New Hampshire. She died on 28 March 1894 at the age of 78.
