2018. Gen. James Pierce was born on 24 September 1810 in Swanzey, N. H.. He died on 2 December 1874 at the age of 64 in Sharpsville, Pennsylvania.

Gen. James Pierce and Chloe Holbrook were married on 1 January 1839 in Swanzey, N. H.. Chloe Holbrook was born on 20 March 1816 in Swanzey, N. H.. She died on 16 August 1886 at the age of 70 in Mercer Co., Pennsylvania.

Gen. James Pierce and Chloe Holbrook had the following children:
