Benjamin Metcalf Walker was born on 14 May 1923 in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts.¹⁰²⁸ He appeared in the census on 3 April 1930 at Hotel Fensgate, 534 Beacon St. in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts. He appeared in the census on 9 April 1940 at 1163 Boylston St. in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts. Benjamin was killed in action during the Battle of Soyang River as a member of the 23rd Infantry Regiment, South Korea Sector on 26 May 1951 at the age of 28 in South Korea.
He was buried at Section 3 Site 1538-E, Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia.

Capt. Benjamin Metcalf Walker and Mary Louise Connors were married on 2 August 1944 in Somerville, Middlesex, Massachusetts. Mary Louise Connors, daughter of Daniel William Connors and Ann Isabella Campbell, was born on 22 January 1918 at Copp Hospital in Cambridge, Middlesex, Massachusetts. She lived at 41 Atherton St. in Roxbury, Suffolk, Massachusetts on 30 June 1951. She died on 14 January 1988 at the age of 69 in Hyannis, Barnstable, Massachusetts.
