2705. Leonard Aires Stearns was born on 5 June 1846 in Bowerbank, Piscataquis, Maine.⁸⁰⁶ He appeared in the census on 11 June 1900 in Pana, Christian, Illinois. He appeared in the census on 3 May 1910 at National Home Disabled Volunteer Soldiers in Danville, Vermilion, Illinois. Leonard died on 1 December 1917 at the age of 71 in Kansas City, Jackson, Missouri. He was buried at Leavenworth National Cemetery in Leavenworth, Leavenworth, Kansas.

Leonard Aires Stearns and Malinda A. Faulkner were married on 4 July 1877 in Beloit, Rock, Wisconsin. They were divorced before 1900. Malinda A. Faulkner was born in March 1857 in Illinois. She died on 16 June 1907 at the age of 50 in Davenport, Scott, Iowa.
