760. David Evans was born on 13 July 1768. He was baptized on 2 October 1768 in Fryeburg, Oxford, Maine.⁵⁶⁰ He died on 22 April 1809 at the age of 40.

David Evans and Lydia Colby were married about 1797. Lydia Colby, daughter of Samuel Colby and Sarah Cummings, was born on 14 May 1773. She died in 1862 at the age of 89.

David Evans and Lydia Colby had the following children:

1435	i.	Catherine Walker Evans was born on 12 September 1797.
1436	ii.	Samuel Colby Evans was born on 12 March 1799.
1437	iii.	John Evans was born on 16 April 1801.
1438	iv.	Ruth Evans was born on 2 April 1803.
1439	v.	John Evans was born on 18 July 1805.
1440	vi.	Josiah Evans was born on 17 July 1807.
