Solomon Walker was born say 1774 in Langdon, Sullivan, New Hampshire.⁷²⁸ He left Langdon, Sullivan, New Hampshire in 1807.⁷²⁸ He died between 1816 and 1818 at the age of 42 in Nicholas County, (West) Virginia. Solomon is not the Solomon Walker who married Charity Stevens, and who resided in Claremont, New Hampshire, before removing to Michigan. That Solomon was the son of Andrew and Sarah (Carrol) Walker, and was born in 1779 at Thompson, Windham County, Connecticut.

Solomon Walker and Leah Boyden were married on 18 October 1795 in Alstead, Cheshire, New Hampshire.⁷²⁹ They⁷²⁹ appeared in the census in 1800 in Langdon, Sullivan, New Hampshire.⁷³⁰ They⁷³⁰ appeared in the census in 1810 in Delmar, Tioga, Pennsylvania.⁷³¹ Leah Boyden, daughter of Ezekiel Boyden and Leah Richardson, was born on 8 January 1766 in Walpole, Norfolk, Massachusetts.⁷³² She died on 17 August 1842 at the age of 76 in Huntington, Gallia, Ohio.

Solomon Walker and Leah Boyden had the following children:

1989	i.	Ira Walker was born estimated 1796 in Langdon, Sullivan, New Hampshire. He appeared in the census in 1820 in Nicholas County, (West) Virginia. He died in 1832 at the age of 36 in Nicholas County, (West) Virginia.⁷³³

1992	iv.	Joel B. Walker was born estimated 1807 in Delmar, Tioga, Pennsylvania. He appeared in the census on 5 September 1850 in District 4, Braxton, (West) Virginia. He appeared in the census on 3 August 1860 in Union, Des Moines, Iowa. Joel appeared in the census on 16 August 1870 in Denmark, Lee, Iowa. He appeared in the census on 15 June 1880 in Montrose, Lee, Iowa. He appeared in the census in 1895 in Benton, Des Moines, Iowa. Joel died between 1896 and 1900 at the age of 89 in Iowa. He was unmarried.
