Joshua Walker was born on 26 April 1786 in Conway, Carroll, New Hampshire.³⁴⁴ He was baptized in June 1786 at Conway Congregational Church in Conway, Carroll, New Hampshire.⁵⁹⁷ He served in the military as a first lieutenant in Col. Ulmer's Regiment, U. S. Volunteers (War of 1812), in Belfast, Waldo, Maine.⁵⁹⁸ He was a 1st lieutenant in Col. Ulmer's Regiment, U. S. Volunteers (War of 1812). Joshua died on 30 December 1825 at the age of 39 in Belfast, Waldo, Maine.^343,599
He was buried at Maple Grove Cemetery, Section A, Row 9, Plot 27 in Albion, Kennebec, Maine.
