Sixth Generation


1614. Joshua Nelson Walker Jr. was born about 1825. He died between 1880 and 1900 at the age of 55. From a letter by grand-daughter Ethel Walker Boothby to Maynard Walker dated 4 Nov. 1957, "Joshua Walker was a mill-wright. He invented a gold washing or digging machine and went out west with it to the Black Hills of Dakota. He wrote home a few times, but that was the last."

Joshua Nelson Walker Jr. and Tryphenia Collins Thompson were married on 2 March 1849 in Unity, Waldo, Maine.819 Tryphenia Collins Thompson, daughter of Isaac Jones Thompson and Rachel Moody, was born on 23 June 1825 in Lewiston, Androscoggin, Maine. She died on 19 October 1909 at the age of 84 in Vassalboro, Kennebec, Maine. She was buried at North Vassalboro Village Cemetery in Vassalboro, Kennebec, Maine.

Joshua Nelson Walker Jr. and Tryphenia Collins Thompson had the following children:
