They appeared in the census on 13 June 1860 in Thorndike, Waldo, Maine. Otis and Mary appeared in the census on 7 July 1870 in Knox, Waldo, Maine. Mary A. Danforth, daughter of Stephen Danforth and Susanna Kelley, was born on 31 March 1826. She died in 1877 at the age of 51 in Knox, Waldo, Maine.⁸¹² She was buried at Knox Station Cemetery in Knox, Waldo, Maine.⁸¹³
